Al Qaeda, Racists, and the Tea Party

The game the White House is playing is brilliant.

Remember those analogous questions you were asked on your college entrance SAT exams?  If the color black equals blue, and the color blue equals white, then the color white also equals what?  The answer, through deductive and logical reasoning is of course black.  Your are asked to make a correlation.

President Obama wants us to make a correlation as well.  The NAACP has denounced the Tea Party for containing ‘racial elements’.  More than coincidentally, at the same time, President Obama has just claimed (quite extraordinarily) that al Qaeda is a racist organization.  Now, there are many things you can call al Qaeda, but racist is not only at the bottom of the list, I’m not sure it would even be on a reasonable person’s list.

So why did President Obama choose the term racist.  Why did he choose that term NOW?  Simple: he is setting up the correlation, certainly, that the Tea Party is equal to al Qaeda.  A beautifully orchestrated correlation.

Watch for the media, along with the White House, to frame the argument that the Tea Party and al Qaeda share common traits such as being racist.  As a reminder, the Department of Homeland Security via Janet Napolitano has already tried to frame and condition Americans to view groups such as the Tea Party as a radicalized movement.

The White House wants it to stick this time.
